Over the last years, there has been a substantial investment in several Faculties at the University of Amsterdam into new research and education related to human-centred Artificial Intelligence. UvA sees AI developments affecting all parts of society and culture and has made it into one of its main focus points, however, it is easy to get lost in the many initiatives and programmes.
On the 10th of November, at the Koninklijke Nederlandse Akademie van Wetenschappen, from 9h30 to 13h00, we would like to invite UvA members of staff to learn more about the ongoing work in the area, research opportunities and connect with like-minded people across the Faculties. The programme will be available soon and the morning session will involve introductions to relevant university research priority areas and themes as well as ample opportunity to network with others.
In the afternoon, UvA staff members are welcome to join us from 14h00 to 17h00 for more in-depth discussions on the themes directly connected to Human(e) AI. The programme for the afternoon will include presentations offered by some of the cross-faculty teams that received Seed Funding projects of the RPA Human(e) AI.
